Meeting Minutes

Tuesday, December 4th, 2007

 

  • The reimbursement form for home hours during the December break was distributed. Up to 12 hours are available for pre-school aged children during the break. Children serviced by E.I. are not eligible for these hours as the county pays for those. It is up to each parent/guardian to find the home staff to cover the hours. These hours are only available to active participants in Y.A.P. Charitable. You must participate in order to receive the hours.

 

  • Video release forms for the dinner dance video were distributed. These must be signed by each parent/guardian if you would like your child to appear in the video.

 

  • We are still in need of a second prize and a partial first prize for our raffle. Our first prize consists of a one week stay in a condo in San Carlos Mexico courtesy of the Zinck family. We are still in need of airfare. If anyone has a contact with Delta or U.S. Air or has miles to donate, please let Mary Herrle know.

 

  • Fundraising materials will be distributed during the 2nd week of January. Invitations will go out late February or early March. Please put together your invite list for the gala and be sure to include yourself on that list.  Be sure to send an invite to as many people as you can. On the R.S.V.P. card there is an option to just donate in lieu of attending.  You will receive more details in the future.

 

  • Please check with your employer to see if they have a matching program. Y.A.P. Charitable will complete the necessary forms provided by your company.

 

  • We are in need of a florist. If anyone has a connection with one, please contact Mary Herrle or Margaret Cassella.

 

  • The children’s Holiday party is on Sunday, December 9th.

 

  • The next YAPCF meeting is Tuesday, January 8th at 6:30 p.m.  Babysitting will be available.  Please contact Christine Kerimian @ (631) 813-8960.
