Young Autism Program Charitable Foundation

The Board of the YAP Charitable would like to thank all the parents, friends, family members, staff, and supporters that made our recent bar night a resounding success. Because of your hard work, this year was our biggest success ever and we could not have done it without you. Thank you for your continued support.

The Young Autism Program Charitable Foundation, Inc. (YAPCF) is an IRS 501©(3) foundation formed over 10 years ago by the parents of children enrolled in the Young Autism Program (YAP). Our main mission is to supplement the state funded teaching ratio of 6:1:3.5 to allow each child to receive one on one instruction. To fulfill this need, we must raise $250,000 each year. We are run strictly by parent volunteers and have very few expenses outside of fundraising costs. This ensures that most of the money is allocated to the children of YAP.

We are a registered charity with the NYS Attorney General’s Office. Our financial statements are audited each year by an independent CPA and a tax return is filed each year with the IRS.
